Highly recommend Jackson at Glacier Plumbing. He took care of some plumbing work at my house and did a great job start to finish - showed up on time, knew exactly what he was doing, and the work was clean and solid. Straightforward about pricing, no surprises, and he didn't leave a mess behind. Easy to deal with and clearly takes pride in his work. If you need a plumber you can trust, Jackson's your guy.
Glacier plumbing is the finest company with Integrity, The owner Jackson helped us with a plumbing issue and did an outstanding job. I was so impressed with their service he's sending someone over to replace a shower valve issue.
Outstanding service, I highly recommend this company...
Called about a leaking Pressure Release Valve and they were out the very next day. They were upfront and honest and the repair was complete within 40 min. Their pricing was reasonable. Brett was polite and great to work with.
Cody shows up and does an amazing job! He is really professionally and knows what he is doing. He gets the job done fast and doesn't charge an arm and a leg. I definitely recommend his company. Thanks for the good work.
We h.ad Bret come to do the plumbing. He has to do this with a snake & then getting is what he used to fix it. We was excellent. He did a good job and cleaned up everything spotless. He was very professional
We were looking to replace a bathtub in our master bath, but it seemed like it would be too expensive to do so. We got an amazing quote from Glacier and decided to go ahead with it. There was some confusion about the quote and it was considerably lower than it should have been, but Glacier honored it. It is rare to find a company that will stand by its word like that. I couldn't be more impressed.
The technician who came out to do the demo was on time, respectful of our home, and he went out of his way to make sure all of our questions were answered - even questions we didn't know we had yet.
recently had Glacier Plumbing install a driveway heating system at my home and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Jackson and Ethan, the owners, were both fantastic to work with from start to finish. Ethan handled most of the installation himself, and his attention to detail and craftsmanship really stood out.
The entire process was smooth, professional, and well-communicated. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure the job was done right. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and it shows in the final result.
If you’re considering a driveway heater or any plumbing work, I highly recommend Glacier Plumbing. Jackson and Ethan truly deliver excellent service and quality work.
I have had Ethan do several small and large jobs at my place over the years. He always does an A+ job and is very fair in pricing. I always feel like I made the right choice in choosing Ethan and his team to come help us out with our plumbing needs.
They came out to our house to look at some clogged rain gutters going underground. They showed up on time, gave a good assessment of the situation and reported options to me. I'm very happy with the service.
As the Landlord who wasn't with them every step of the way, Bret was astute and went beyond my expectations. Their reply wasn't as quickly received and communication was tricky (because of me), but they won my business. They were cooperative, available when I needed them, and good on the pricing. Yes, I would do business with them again. In this case, my only request would be completion pictures from Glacier.
We had a clogged sink that turned out to be quite the hassle. Brett with Glacier plumbing was incredibly helpful and showed us each step throughout the process to that we felt comfortable and informed with what was going on. He also gave us little tips for how to avoid future problems. While we hope we don't need a plumber again anytime soon, in the case that we do, we will definitely reach out to them again!
These guys are the go-to for plumbing installation and repair! Jackson was super friendly and polite. Catherine was a delight on the phones for scheduling!
Super easy to work with and really knows his stuff. Showed up on time, was honest about what needed to be done, and got it taken care of without any hassle. Definitely someone I’d recommend!
I had called because we had no heat. Jackson responded and arranged to come out on a Sunday. He got the heat working temporarily. He and his business partner came again a few days later to install a new boiler. They did a fantastic job! They worked quickly and did a great job. Jackson even checked the temperature on our water heater. Jackson explained things well to us. I would recommend this company and use them again in the future.
My 39 year old boiler failed in January 2026, Glacier Plumbing responded same day and had replacement boiler installed within a week! They do professional work and are competitively priced. I would recommend them to all my friends and neighbors.
Great customer Service, quick to respond. Ethan was efficient and very transparent as well as very knowledgeable about the work. I will recommend him strongly and we will be reaching back out for any future issues
Ethan came out to help us with some faucet issues we were having. We thought we had trouble shored the situation prior to calling in a plumber. But he quickly solved the problem for us (it was an easy fix we missed) explained how we can resolve it and waived the fee for coming all the way out. He was super honest and friendly, and I would highly recommend this establishment for any plumbing issues, and we will be reaching back out if we are need of one as well!
Jackson and Ethan came by and gave me an estimate for replacing my Radiant Heat/Hot Water Boiler system. They explained what I needed done to get my 20 year old system up to speed. Answered all my questions and gave me all the options. They then did a great job on the installation. I’m very happy with the finished product! I will definitely use them again.
Jackson and Ethan did a great job replacing my 31 year old Buderus boiler. They were able to get the new boiler installed with heat/hot water running within 24 hours. I feel like I got a fair price for the boiler, heat exchanger and labor. I’m looking forward to many years of trouble-free heat and hot water from my new system. I’d recommend Glacier to others who need help with their hydronic heat system.
I can’t thank Ethan enough for the services that he did!
He came out to our house and gave us his honest opinion of what was needed immediate attention and what eventually needed to be done. Our water heater needed to be replaced and some pipes as well to go with it.
Thankfully it was done the same day and we have him coming back to fix a few other things too!
Very professional, efficient and honest, you can’t find many people like that anymore.
Thanks !
Our boiler that was installed three years ago broke down and we came to find out that the company that produces those boilers went out of business unexpectedly. We reached out to the previous company that installed it for us and they tried to charge us $5000 more than the original install to replace it. We reached out to glacier and they provided us with a fair replacement of a reputable piece of US built equipment and we were back up and running in about 24 hours. If you’re looking for fair pricing, good quality and superior customer service don’t hesitate to give them a call. You can really tell that they care about the work they do and their customers. Thank You Jackson and Glacier!
I had an excellent experience and could not be happier with the service. I really appreciated the straightforward communication on everything. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work and will definitely use them again in the future!
Thank you Dustin!
We lived several hours away, Ethan quickly verified our situation over the phone, and once I fully understood the problem, I was able to resolve it quickly. Thx Ethan!
100% recommend Glacier Plumbing and Hydronics - our older HTP boiler broke down. Unfortunately we called a general plumber first and didn’t realize how specialized the system was. A costly lesson.
Found Glacier Plumbing and Ethan came in next day. So professional. Clean working, super knowledgeable. We decided to replace the boiler since the other was no longer viable.
The new boiler was up and running quickly and now is better than before.
I had boiler problems the first weekend of October 25. I can’t say how I chose Glacer, maybe just good luck. They had a crew out here the next day. Long story short, I had lots of issues. They were all taken care of on time and on budget. My system now works better than ever before. I won’t hesitate to call on them again or recommend them to anyone else.
Called them late at night on Saturday for help fixing my boiler. They came out that night, diagnosed the problem, and scheduled a time to come back the next morning. By Sunday afternoon I was back up and running. Very professional, clean, and easy to work with. Would recommend them to anyone residential or commercial.
I have had a great experience with Glacier. My boiler would not light so I previously called one of the larger HVAC organizations that works in the valley and it cost me $350 for no solutions and lots of negative feelings. Their representative knew exactly what to look for and exactly how my boiler functioned. I was not asked to pay for the initial visit, but I plan to have my boiler replaced rather than just repair because it is very old. I will update my review after they have replaced the boiler.
We received prompt and professional service for full boiler replacement. After 3 bids, we decided on Glacier and a day and a half later we were back up and running with a new boiler. Jackson did a great job during the installation, and his communications were excellent. He then followed up a couple days later to be sure everything was running smoothly and took the time to teach us about our new system. I have no hesitation recommending this company.
Jackson fit us in the same day I called for help when our snow melt boiler was making a strange sound that worried us. He came even if he already had a full day of appointments and fit us in late in his evening, checking out our system, explaining things and assuring that everything was working well which gave us peace of mind. We appreciated his honesty and willingness to help us so late in the day!
Jackson at Glacier Plumbing did a fantastic job for us.
Our driveway snow melting system had shutdown due to a leak in the boiler system. It’s hard to find someone that specializes in boilers and radiant heating systems.
I lucked out when I called Glacier Plumbing and Hydronics.
Not only did Jackson have an amazing understanding of the total system, but he was able to obtain the parts necessary and get the system up and working right away.
I would highly recommend this company, especially for boiler works, but also for any other plumbing needs.

Tub and shower problems may develop gradually. A slow drip can become more frequent, a handle may become increasingly difficult to turn, or water pressure may decline over time.
Schedule an inspection if you notice:
A showerhead that drips when turned off
Water leaking from the tub spout
Difficulty controlling water temperature
A loose or difficult-to-turn handle
Low or inconsistent water pressure
Water collecting outside the tub or shower
A drain that empties slowly
Recurring tub or shower clogs
Gurgling or unpleasant drain odors
Moisture on the wall or ceiling nearby
Rust, corrosion, or mineral buildup
A tub spout that will not divert water properly
The visible fixture may not be the source. Water can escape from a valve, connection, supply pipe, drain assembly, or another component behind the finished surface.

Shower Valve Repair and Replacement
The shower valve controls water flow and helps regulate temperature. When it wears out or becomes damaged, you may experience dripping, poor pressure, sudden temperature changes, or difficulty shutting off the water.
Possible shower valve problems include:
Worn cartridges
Damaged internal seals
Mineral accumulation
Loose or deteriorated connections
Corroded valve components
An unreliable pressure-balancing mechanism
Our plumber evaluates the handle, cartridge, valve, and accessible connections. When compatible parts are available, repairing the existing assembly may restore proper operation. Replacement may be more appropriate when the valve is badly damaged, outdated, or repeatedly failing.
Tub Spout and Diverter Repair
A tub spout directs water into the bathtub, while its diverter sends water to the showerhead. When the diverter fails, water may continue flowing from the spout instead of reaching the showerhead.
We repair or replace tub spouts that are:
Dripping continuously
Loose against the wall
Difficult to operate
Corroded or cracked
Leaking near the connection
Failing to divert water properly
The replacement must match the existing connection and plumbing configuration. Our plumber checks compatibility before installing the new spout.
Tub and Shower Drain Problems
Soap residue, hair, and other buildup can restrict a tub or shower drain. A developing blockage may first appear as slow drainage before water begins collecting around your feet.
If the drain clogs repeatedly, the issue may extend beyond material near the opening. Gurgling, odors, or problems affecting nearby fixtures can indicate a blockage farther inside the drainage system.
We assess how the drain is behaving and determine the appropriate way to restore flow. Avoid chemical drain cleaners, which may damage plumbing materials or create hazardous conditions for anyone working on the line.
Repairing Leaks Around Tubs and Showers
Water near a tub or shower may come from a visible fixture, a concealed valve, a drain connection, a supply pipe, or a failed plumbing seal. It can travel behind walls or beneath flooring before you notice it.
Possible warning signs include:
Soft or discolored drywall
Peeling paint
Loose flooring
Stains on the ceiling below
Musty odors
Damp baseboards
Water near the tub after use
Prompt inspection can help limit damage to nearby finishes and building materials. We locate the plumbing source and explain what access may be required before starting repairs.
Hard Water and Bathroom Fixtures
Hard water can leave deposits inside showerheads, cartridges, valves, and tub spouts. Over time, mineral buildup may restrict flow, change the spray pattern, or make handles and diverters more difficult to operate.
White residue on the outside of a fixture may be easy to see, but deposits can also build up in narrow internal passages. However, poor pressure or temperature control may have another cause, so replacing the showerhead alone may not solve the problem.
Bathroom updates often include new tubs, shower systems, valves, faucets, drains, and water connections. These components must match the planned layout and be properly positioned before walls and finishes are completed.
Our bathroom remodeling plumbing may include:
Relocating water and drain lines
Installing shower valves
Connecting tubs and shower bases
Preparing plumbing for new fixtures
Replacing aging shutoff components
Updating plumbing for a revised layout
Testing connections before finishes are installed
Early plumbing coordination can help prevent delays and avoid unnecessary changes later in the renovation.

Frequently Asked Questions About Toilet Repair in North Salt Lake
A showerhead may drip briefly as remaining water drains from the fixture. Continuous dripping can indicate a worn cartridge, damaged valve, or failed seal. Hard-water deposits may also prevent internal parts from closing correctly. A plumber can inspect the valve and determine which component needs attention.
Yes. Minerals can accumulate inside showerhead openings, cartridges, and valves, restricting water flow. However, low shower pressure may also result from a supply or pressure problem. We inspect the fixture and related plumbing to determine whether buildup, wear, or another issue is responsible.
Sudden temperature changes may be caused by a worn cartridge, faulty mixing valve, pressure imbalance, or changes elsewhere in the plumbing system. A plumber can evaluate the valve and water flow to determine why the shower is not maintaining a steady temperature.
Yes. We install compatible tub spouts, showerheads, handles, valves, faucets, and related plumbing components. If the remodel changes the fixture locations or bathroom layout, we can also evaluate whether water lines, drains, and valves must be moved or updated.
Ceiling stains beneath a shower may come from a drain connection, supply pipe, shower valve, tub overflow, or another concealed plumbing component. Stop using the fixture if the stain is growing or water is actively dripping. An inspection is needed to identify the source before repairs begin.
Whether it’s a repair, install, or remodel – our team is ready. Fill out the form below and we’ll follow up within 24 hours (often much sooner).
